1 Granny Smith apple -- peeled, cored and grated
juice of 1 large lemon
1/4 cup minced fresh chives
Gently mix together. Let sit 10 minutes before serving, at room temperature, to blend flavors. Yields 1 1/4 cups (makes 5 one-quarter cup servings).
Serve over boiled or roasted [favorites].
