Are we injecting the insulin in the wrong place? So far we have tried about 2-3 inches from the belly button and on the back of the arm. I am getting concerned. Thanks for your help, Oh he is currently on 17 units of Lantus.
My doctor has me injecting just below the belly button, rotating across my stomach. I have only been on insulin for two weeks, but after each week I emailed my glucose readings to him. After the first week he increased my dose. You may want to contact his doctor.
