Where to put the Insulin?

I am sure the doctor would give you a sketch of the recommended injection points. They are usually in the gut or the top of the legs. They may seem to hurt the first few times. As far as the dosage I was originally to do 3 units before each meal and to GRADUALLY increase till I got the reading of Glucose to level of at what the doctor expected. Over 3 months I got up to 20 units each meal and now I have backed off to 15 17. You also can adjust if you feel the upcoming meal might be above what he should be eating. The one problem I discovered is that as you increase the size of the shot the appetite increases and you will get fat fast .. This of course is not better advice than you should get from your doctor. Ask him if he agrees..
