Diabetics also should do cardio exercises

Tomorrow morning, maybe 5am or so, I intend to exercise about 8 minutes hard. Hard means I exercycle as much as I can for 1 minute, ease off the next then repeat the cycle for 4 times total.

I'm not sure you're getting much benefit from this kind of exercise regimen. You may just be producing a lot of lactic acid, which certainly can make you tired. Diabetics seem to get the most benefit in terms of reducing insulin resistance from using weights. I use weights (machines and free weights) 3 times a week. However, my workout takes a full hour with 3 sets of 15 repetitions of 10 different exercises.

Diabetics also should do cardio exercises. To get optimal benefit, you should raise your pulse rate to 80% of your maximum level (220 minus your age multipled by 0.8) for at least 30 minutes at least 3 times per week. I use an exercise bike in the winter, bike outdoors the rest of the year, and also do swing dancing. Running, walking and swimming can achieve the same thing.
