the carbs make a big difference. I was having morning numbers in the 80's this past week, then last night I ate a bit too much carbs with dinner so this morning it was 106, also yesterday I ate a small bag of doritos.
Yesterday I was very anxious as I was seeing an orthopedist for the first time for back pain I've been having. It's been getting progressively worse the past few weeks and i was reduced to limping thru the mall this weekend. Anyway, I'm always anxious when I see a doctor, especially for the first time. i was too anxious to eat breakfast, so by lunchtime I was famished. I ate my salad with chicken, but it just wasn't enough and unfortunately when i'm at work, there are no good choices, so I went for a bag of doritos (small bag) mostly because I needed to CHEW away the nerves~ I'm sure that's the case. So I need to be better prepared for these occasions at work, but also I need to find a good low carb substitute for a crispy,salty chip. forget the rice cakes, I don't eat styrofoam. Any suggestions would be welcome! btw, in case anyone is interested, the doc is sending me for an MRI but he thinks it's inflamed SI joints, his exam of my back and xrays were unremarkable which is good. Advil has been my best friend!
