I know that some others may disagree with me on what I'm going to say, but more important than the results you offered us, what would be really critical for us to be able to give you any relevant feedback would be what your BG was at the start of the meal. We don't know how MUCH of a rise you had; in other words, we know only where the BG was an hour after the meal, but not how *much* you rose after that meal, which is also important.
Yes, the one-hour test was elevated; although you may not hear this from a lot of people, it's desirable to see readings no higher than 140 at one hour post-prandial and no higher than 120 at two hours post-prandial, with the reading at the start of the next meal to be back to baseline, or back to your starting BG.
What did you eat at the meal? More important than how many grams of carbohydrate is WHERE those grams of carb came from. In other words, if you ate a meal of 30 grams of carb, was it 30 grams from predominantly veggies, or 30 grams from predominantly starchy, or more dense, carbohydrate? If the PP rise to 167 was from a meal of primarily starchy carbs, then you know where to reduce the carbs at that meal; however, if that rise to 167 was from a meal of protein and veggies/salad and a very small serving of a more dense carb, you're going to see a very different sort of rise simply because the food that you ate would likely affect you differently.
Can you give us a bit more information? Also -- what meds, if any, are you using? Also, any reason why you're testing so infrequently? That's the only way to establish patterns - by testing.
