Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method:
15 ounces pink beans -- (1 can) undrained
3/4 cup vegetable stock
1/2 cup tomato juice
1 teaspoon Hungarian paprika -- hot or sweet
salt and freshly ground pepper

Pour the beans and their liquid, the stock, tomato juice, and paprika into a blender and whirl on high until a very smooth sauce forms, about 60 seconds. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Heat in a small saucepan and serve. Makes about 3 cups.
