I agree we need to control and learn how to control our diabetes just like you need to control oclitis. There we can learn to understand our illness better by gathering information both traditional and alternative solutions should be viewed with open eyes. There are times the answers can be found elsewhere. Diet is so important to controlling our diabetes but as I found once you go off on your diet your blood sugar level does change as does your colitis condition. I found by supplementing my diet on glyconutrients I have much better control of my conditions. Medication has been reduced and attribute this to these supplements. You can find out more about these at www.mannapages. com/dorama. Worth looking into that.
Also I found gluten free and low glycaemic diet has been helpful to me as well as organic fresh food, especially eaten raw as that is the way we can get the full benefits of all the nutrients in our food. I found as I reduced my meat intake the better I was starting to feel. I saying taking it out of your diet as it still a good source of protein but to reduce the intake is helpful. Any way you can read up on all these things in some books suggested here. Just take a little time to be educated and be ready to look at resources out there can help you. Life is worth living so enjoy the challenge to be educated in this as your knowledge grows the better you wll learn to control it and the better you cope and the better you will feel. Also imagine the others you could help by obatining the knowledge by reading new and fascinating discoveries and so on. One of the joys of life is not what you do for yourself by what you do to help others. It is one of the great gifts God has given us.
