Diabetes: Tighter Control Reduces Heart Disease Risk by 17%
Since Bernstein reports a "normal" BG runs in the mid 80's and my non-diabetic friends who have been willing to let me puncture them and measure all run in the mid 70's then what would that extrapolate to for an A1c? I admit to being math impaired, although I do know 135 equates to an A1c of 6 (got that from a chart that didn't go any lower). It appears to me from the diversity between 135 and, say 85, that the A1c would probably be in the 4's for healthy folk.
