How many per day or try to go with a percentage of total calories?

I eat a low carb diet, it works for me, just my personal opinion. Do you count carbs (how many per day?) or try to go with a percentage of total calories? Glad to see I'm not alone in the confusion, lol.

Actually, no I don't count my carbs, at least not most days. I simply make sure that I always have a portion of meat or fish at every meal, veggies. I do a lot of veggie and veggie/meat stir fries in extra virgin olive oil, garlic and onions. lots of salads with arugula, endive, radichio, tomatoes, avocado, olives, mushrooms, a bit of cheese. as long as I get all of my carbs from veggies, I don't worry about how many because it never seems to touch my numbers. the only thing that will raise my numbers is bread, pasta, rice, but if I want some of this I will eat a small portion. But not everyday. I suck at math, so I don't mess with percentages either. just me. and I guess it's been working for me because my numbers are within range and I've been losing weight slowly, which is how I want to lose.
